We believe every family deserves a strong foundation.

The Story

The Northern Moore Family Resource Center was founded with a simple mission:

Encourage the development of strong families, healthy children, and caring communities by matching resources with needs in northern Moore County.

Recently, the Resource Center was given ownership of their current facility, as well as the former Robbins Police Station. The Police Station will be renovated in partnership with the Sandhills Coalition for Human Care and the Moore Free & Charitable Clinic. By operating under one roof, we’ll expand access to  critical resources and better serve the community.

Today, we serve hundreds of families each year through early childhood education, after-school programs, parent workshops, holiday assistance, and community development projects. We work hand-in-hand with local schools, faith organizations, civic groups, and families to create opportunities and remove barriers.

The building is identified as the Northern Moons Family Resource Center, with two flower pots on either side of the entrance. The photo has a white border with handwritten text "Resource Center."

Help us continue this work.

Meet Our Team

Behind every program, every workshop, and every family we serve is a dedicated team of educators, community leaders, and neighbors who believe in the power of strong families. Our staff, board members, and volunteers bring decades of experience in education, nonprofit leadership, and community development. We’re here because we love this community, and we’re committed to making sure every family has the support they need to thrive.
